There is absolutely no better way to experience the picturesque island of Aruba than on a private and personal tour to some of the area highlights and to dine on local tastes at a favorite establishment of the locals.

Private Island Tour with Lunch

Upon arrival to the port in Oranjestad, you will be greeted with the instant and panoramic beauty of the capital city of the island of Aruba. Known as "one happy island", it will not take you long at all to discover why. The friendly people of Aruba are happy because they live where the weather is always gorgeous, the island consistently receives the least rainfall in the Southern Caribbean, and being as Aruba is located outside the Hurricane Belt, you can expect excellent conditions almost no matter what time of year.

Be met and picked up directly at the pier area in your private and comfortable transportation. Your private group can accommodate a maximum amount of 8 guests in total, ensuring an intimate and personal experience. Begin your day as you first make your way to the California Lighthouse. This lighthouse is located at Hudishibana near Arashi Beach on the northwest tip of Aruba. The lighthouse was named for the steamship California, which was wrecked nearby on September 23, 1891.

Travel next to the Alto Vista Chapel, a small Catholic chapel also known as "Pilgrims Church" that stands on the hills above the north shore of the sea and to the northeast of the town of Noord. The chapel was built in 1952 on the site of the original and first Catholic church built in Aruba in 1750 by a Spanish missionary, Domingo Antonio Silvestre. The bright yellow chapel is reached by a winding road lined with white crosses marking the stations of the cross.

Continue from here to the Casibari Rock formation, located towards the center of the island north of the Hooiberg. The rocks in the formation are composed of quartz diorite. A series of boulders that appear to have been gathered, piled, and deliberately set across a few square miles of desert, this site carries a certain air of mystery. Scientists remain baffled about the geological event that could have created the formations, while archaeologists and historians are fascinated by the petroglyphs and paintings drawn by the native Arawak people.

To round out this amazing day of exploration your last stop will be at a local's favorite restaurant to dine on delicious island fare. This local treasure is in the heart of Oranjestad and offers up sumptuous home-style fresh seafood in casual, comfortable surroundings. Dine on a fixed menu that is certain to please after a morning of discovering beautiful Aruba.

After your delectable lunch you will return to the pier area, not far from the restaurant, in your comfortable transportation as you recollect your amazing time spent in Aruba on this fantastic private tour.
